You seem like a reasonable person so you probably know all of this, but so many writers here get discouraged and then whine in the forums that nobody reads their stuff. Just like, you know, find people who are into the same sorts of quality writing and don't worry about it.
If you don't know already, it's hard to get a good audience for poetry and prose around here, what with it being mostly a visual site. It's not altogether impossible though, so keep at it.
